The LM358B and LM2904B devices are the nextgeneration versions of the industry-standard operational amplifiers (op amps) LM358 and LM2904, which include two high-voltage (36-V) op amps. These devices provide outstanding value for costsensitive applications, with features including low offset (300 µV, typical), common-mode input range to ground, and high differential input voltage capability. The LM358B and LM2904B op amps simplify circuit design with enhanced features such as unity-gain stability, lower offset voltage of 3 mV (maximum at room temperature), and lower quiescent current of 300 µA per amplifier (typical). High ESD (2 kV, HBM) and integrated EMI and RF filters enable the LM358B and LM2904B devices to be used in the most rugged, environmentally challenging applications.
The LM358B and LM2904B amplifiers are available in micro-sized packaging, such as the SOT23-8 , as well as industry standard packages, including SOIC, TSSOP, and VSSOP.

This EVM doesn’t include the EV2400 interface device (HPA500); this must be ordered separately to evaluate the bq2471x EVM.

The APW8723 is a voltage mode, fixed 300kHz switching frequency, synchronous buck converter. The APW8723 allows wide input voltage that is either a single 5V~12V or two supply voltage(s) for various applications. The power-on-reset (POR) circuit monitors the VCC supply voltage to prevent wrong logic controls. A built-in soft-start circuit prevents the output voltages from overshoot as well as limits the input current. An internal 0.8V temperature-compensated reference voltage with high accuracy is designed to meet the requirement of low output voltage applications. The APW8723 provides excellent output voltage regulations against load current variation.
APW8723 is built in reference voltage offset function for applications that require adjusting supply voltage. The controller’s over-current protection monitors the output current by using the voltage drop across the RDS(ON) of low-side MOSFET, eliminating the need for a current sensing resistor that features high efficiency and low cost. In addition, the APW8723 also integrates excellent protection functions, The over-voltage protection (OVP) , undervoltage protection (UVP) and over-temperature protection (OTP). OVP circuit which monitors the FB voltage to prevent the PWM output from over voltage, and UVP circuit which monitors the FB voltage to prevent the PWM output from under voltage or short circuit. OTP circuit which monitors the junction temperature to prevent over-heating conditions.
The APW8723 is available in TDFN3x3-10 package.

The APL5337 linear regulator is designed to provide a regulated voltage with bi-direction output current for DDRSDRAM termination voltage. The APL5337 integrates two power transistors to source or sink load current up to 2A. It also features internal soft-start, current-limit, thermal shutdown and enable control functions into a single chip.
The internal soft-start controls the rising rate of the output voltage to prevent inrush current during start-up. The current-limit circuit detects the output current and limits the current during short-circuit or current overload conditions. The on-chip thermal shutdown provides thermal protection against any combination of overload that would create excessive junction temperatures. The output voltage of APL5337 is regulated to track the voltage on VREF pin. A proper resistor divider connected to VIN, GND, and VREF pins is used to provide a half voltage of VIN to VREF pin. In addition, connect an external ceramic capacitor and an open-drain transistor to VREF pin for external soft-start and shutdown control.
Pulling and holding the voltage on VREF below the enable voltage threshold shuts down the output. The output of APL5337 will be high impedance after being shut down by VREF or the thermal shutdown function.
