Forget about it!

If you're looking for the boardview for SM-G930F, the global version of Galaxy S7, then you will most likely be deceived by getting this file.

Don't waste money buying credits only to download! With a 95% certainty, I can say that this file is NOT what you're looking for!

I have the SM-G930F board, and it doesn't look anything like this. I also have this exact file, which I paid for on another forum to download it. My file is identical to this file, but none of them match the real board! In reality, the board is different!

I even paid twice, once for BVR and one more time for BVRE because I wanted to inspect both versions. They are the same file, it's just that BVRE is encrypted and BVR is not ("E" means encrypted).

Seeing that this is the BVRE file, you would make a bigger mistake than me if you decide to throw money at this one. OpenBoardView will not open BVRE, it can only open BVR version of the file, unencrypted. The reason that the poster is able to open this file is because he is using a different software. He's using FlexBV, which is about the only software on the planet that can open BVRE! But that software is not free, it costs about 150 USD, and it works be breaking the encryption.

Have a look for yourself. Here is my BVR version of this file in OpenBoardView. For comparison, I have added a correctly rotated snapshot of the "PCB diagram" ("boardview" as some badly informed people call them) from the SM-G930F service manual.

As you can see, the U3000 is there, U4014 is there. Everything matches with this screenshot. With exception for bad rendering by OpenBoardView where some components appear squshed or as small dots, as I don't have FlexBV to open it with, otherwise it would look the same.

The bigger problem is that this boardview doesn't match reality and what you can see with your own eyes. I believe this boardview is a computer model of revision A of the SM-G930F board with part number GH82-11352A. This is according to the source where I downloaded my files.

I think most people will have a different revision of the SM-G930F board, and it will not match with this file. So unless you know exactly that this is the board you have, don't download this and waste money and time on, first, having to get the credits... or worse: building up your reputation on this forum... just so you can download this file... and second, having to waste time figuring out how to open the file.

On my board, U3000 is U4005, and U4014 is U4010. It's a completely different board. Don't be fooled by "SM-G930F". There are several revisions of this board. Apparently. As you saw, this boardview doesn't even match the PCB diagram from the official Samsung service manual for SM-G930F, so how could it match the real and most common SM-G930F board?...

The only 100% match for my board is with ZXW software. They have the correct boaordview for me. I have seen it, they sent me a picture. But I did not buy ZXW. It's a bit wasteful and expensive, just to get a single boardview.

I only joined this forum so I can download this file. Thankfully I know better now and didn't spend money once again on the wrong file.

By the way, you can download this same file for free from another popular repair forum. Just do a search.

Unless you really have the revision "A" and the part number above, this file will do you no good. Just stick with the service manual, or get the ZXW software.
