Sinopse:

Daniel Boone foi uma das séries de TV pioneiras a falar sobre os colonizadores norte-americanos.  A série estreou no dia 24 de setembro de 1964 pela NBC e ficou até 10 de setembro de 1970, num total de 165 episódios produzidas pela 20th Century Fox Television.

 

Na época em que foi lançado, Daniel Boone surpreendeu a todos e transformou-se em um grande sucesso em pouco tempo de exibição, competindo de igual para igual com outras séries como Batman  e Os Monstros.

 

A série era centrada na vida dos pioneiros americanos e era uma elegia à pureza dos antigos valores norte-americanos. Discutia também a relação entre o homem branco com os índios e os métodos utilizados para que o território pudessem ser conquistados.  Ainda nesse cenário encontravam-se famílias em busca de uma vida melhor, caçadores de recompensas e de peles, oportunistas que tentavam vender armas aos índios e que ao mesmo tempo destruíam suas casas.

 

A música de abertura ficou bem famosa também no Brasil. Uma década antes de viver Boone, Fess Parker já havia tido uma experiência com outro popular herói tradicional americano: David Crockett. Ele havia vivido o personagem não na TV, mas no parque da Disneylândia. Parker realmente gostava da natureza, ele montou uma espécie de rancho nos Estados Unidos, estilo dos pioneiros para as pessoas curtiram a natureza, que funciona até hoje.

 

O ator Ed Ames, que interpretava o índio Mingo, não participou das últimas duas temporadas da série (foram seis anos de exibição).

 

Em 1977, a CBS lançou um seriado chamado Young Dan'l Boone que mostrava a juventude do personagem e durou apenas quatro episódios.

 

Daniel Boone é um corajoso pioneiro, caçador e aventureiro que é casado com Rebecca e possui dois filhos, Israel e Jemima. Ele se estabeleceu com sua família na fronteira dos Estados Unidos a leste do Mississipi. Ao lado do amigo Mingo, um índio Cherokee que foi educado em bons colégios, Daniel Boone enfrenta problemas sociais e vive suas aventuras entre índios, em meio as dificuldades da América no século 18. Com a saída do ator Ed Ames (Mingo) da série, o personagem foi substituído por outro índio chamado Gideão (Dom Pedro Colley).

 

Daniel Boone ainda tinha como amigo o taberneiro Cincinnatus.

Daniel nasceu no dia 2 de novembro de 1734 e morreu em 26 de setembro de 1820, ele abriu o caminho conhecido como Wilderness Road e fundou Boonesborough, em Kentucky, um dos primeiros assentamentos de língua inglesa na região. Os pais de Daniel chamavam-se Squire Boone e Sarah Jarman Morgan e haviam imigrado para Pensilvania em 1713. Daniel teve onze irmãos e recebeu muita pouca instrução formal, mas sabia ler e escrever. Presumivelmente havia sido instruído para ser fazendeiro, ferreiro e tecelão.

 

Boone é mais famoso pela sua exploração e assentamentos de povoados, hoje, no atual estado de Kentucky, do que era nas fronteiras ocidentais das Treze Colônias. Boone abriu caminho através das margens do rio Cumberland até ao Kentucky, apesar da resistência dos índios americanos, o qual o Kentucky era o solo de sua caça tradicional, em 1775.

 

Lá ele fundou a colônia de Boonesborough, um dos primeiros assentamentos de Língua Inglesa na região das Montanhas Apache. Antes do final do século XVIII, mais de 200 000 entraram no Kentucky, seguindo o percurso marcado por Daniel Boone, denominado Wilderness Trail.[/oculto]

Investigating further Becky discovers a secret passage that leads to a cave under the house that's being used by smugglers. Before she can return to Williamsburg to report the illegal activities going on her property, the smugglers capture Becky and her son and prepare them for a watery grave. Daniel tracks his wife and son to the old house and meets with an old salt who tries to convince that the banging noises coming from beneath the house are nothing but the sounds of a discontented ghost.

opa meu velho ,por favor coloque informações e links pra eu poder ver quais são ,tem um amigo meu q gravava tudo ,ele deu uma parada por falta de tempo ,mas irei falar com ele sobre o seriado e o filme terei q ver ,já fazem uns 4 meses q eu não acesso o fórum de séries e desenhos q participo ,mas irei acessar este fim de semana e  olho lá tmb .

 

Eu tenho bastante coisa aqui ,mas a maioria são do meu tempo de infância ,a maioria passava nos anos 70 e 80 !!

Li o post inteiro. E fui rebobinando a fita na mente.

Cheguei a chutar o nome do índio de "Tonto", mas vi que não. Tonto sou eu. Tonto é outro índio, amigo do zorro cowbói. Mas depois de um tempo, os dados buscados na caixola chegaram e visualizei: O Daniel Boone usava um chapéu nada politicamente correto, um espécie de guaxinin e tacava uma machadinha numa árvore que rachava a árvore ao meio. Vou até procurar na net a vinheta de entrada da série para ver se é isso mesmo. Isso é antigo para caramba. Outra coisa que veio na mente agora, o Daniel Boone é parecido com o Alec Baldwin. Vou tirar a prova agora. Mas muito legal o post. Prova que a nossa memória, mesmo não sendo usada ou sobrescrita várias vezes em 40 anos, ainda guarda a informação.  :))
