Postado 4 de Março 4 Mar @Tuner Fish Yes, that’s correct. I noticed you wrote MMPS instead of MPPS, which is why I asked for clarification.
Postado 4 de Março 4 Mar @Tuner Fish Nice tool. Do you use it yourself? Do you work with diesel vehicles? I’m very interested in getting into this field, as where I’m living now almost all cars are diesel.
Postado 4 de Março 4 Mar Autor @Supporte I've only tuned gas vehicles so far. I've not used MPPS yet, but have tried similar tools such as PCM Flash. I use HPTuners a lot. I has a very nicely polished software package but does come at increased cost. What brands of vehicles are you interested in?
Postado 4 de Março 4 Mar @Tuner Fish I would like to get started in this field. I have already done some repairs on car electronics, such as control modules, a Fiat throttle body, and some car keys. However, where I live now there is a strong market for diesel vehicles, so I’m considering focusing on that area. There doesn’t seem to be much qualified labour available locally. There are many BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes and VW vehicles here, so I believe there is good potential in diesel diagnostics and module repair. I would appreciate any advice on the best way to enter this sector and what tools or training you would recommend. my insta @supporte
Postado 5 de Março 5 Mar Autor @Supporte if you are just starting out, concentrate on 1 particular brand to start and go from there. VW is some of the most well documented. Check out some file provider services. You can purchase a few tuned files and map-packs and compare them to stock to see what sort of changes are being made. You're going to need to look into WinOLS at some point. If you are lucky you may find some XDF files for TunerPro but those are harder to find. These videos are useful:
