hello my name is Derek i am a service engineer for a uk electronics retailer, currently repairing notebook mainboards and flat panel television boards to component level, i found this site when i was looking for service manual for an advent notebook.i trained has a television engineer and have also repaired audio equipment, video recorders ,camcorders (analogue and digital)at work we now have two ERSA rework stations and a PDR rework station for BGA ics i have found most of the schematic diagrams for notebooks on line ,i look forward to reading the posts on your site and contributing if i can help.
