  1. Hi everyone, I'm working on repairing my LG Gram 15Z980 (model: 15Z980-GA50ML), and I’m currently stuck. I’d really appreciate any advice or firmware help from the community. My laptop condition: Laptop is completely dead Charging LED works: Blinks when battery is fully drained, Solid when charging normally Power button has no effect (no fan spin, no lights, no activity) Current Diagnosis: Found two SPI flash chips on the motherboard: Winbond 25Q80DVSIG (1MB) MXIC MX25L6473E (8MB) I dumped both chips using CH341A programmer. The 8MB chip (BIOS) dump looks valid and uncorrupted – structure is fine. The 1MB chip (likely EC firmware) looks suspicious: Data seems mostly 00 and FF, The rest appears random or incomplete. I don't know if it's okay to post a broken EC rom here. I suspect the EC ROM is corrupted. or Is the other module broken? Could anyone advise me on how to recover from this kind of situation?
