    My laptop is working perfectly with no issues at all. it currently has a Pentium B940 CPU, and i want to upgrade it to either an I5-2520M or an I5-2540M.

    The final version of the BIOS will support the I5-2540M. Otherwise,this old laptop only supports the I5-23xxM.
