I have i3 la-6842p that powers itself down rapidly even in bios after less than 1 minute. I have swapped Cpu/Ram fitted new thermal paste changed power supply/bench supply but still the same. Where is the best place to start?.
Many thanks.
Hi the only marking on the motherboard is K54c Rev2.1 then a label saying 11591674mb0184
Also found n9tmb1100-b24 on ram slot (11578169) 69N0mdm11b24 and under ram slot is 10bf48233a4d
Hi anybody have experience with this model Toshiba C660 motherboard LA-6842p. Laptop posts then less than 1 minute fan runs fast then shuts down suddenly. I have tried swapping heatsink/cpu/ram but still the same. the most current drawn is 1A. everything is stripped inc wireless card from motherboard.
These are what I have so far
PJ1=3.3v
PJ4 =1.5v
PJ5=5.18v
PJ11/13=1.04v
PJ3=1.78v
PJ9=3.3v
PJ8/10=1.05v
None of these fluctuate greatly or change just before shut down.
Many thanks
I reflashed my original bios file and now laptop works again.
I mentioned it too soon. Laptop will not show video output again.
Im going too change Bios chip to see what happens.
Hi under the label is printed tmt YA-4A 19
E114139 94v-0 1334
Then beside it not under the sticker is PT10ABX(PT10ABX/PT10ABGX) Main Board Rev:2.1
I know its very unusual because I cannot find anything on the web
Thers one more sticker that has the following 12531354-01230-69N0CKM308(or the 8 could be B, its hard to tell)02-01.
No the header is different also laptop wont switch on now. If I put original file on the laptop switches on by itself even without power button attached so Im suspecting BIOS or KBC. Also original problem stillpersists as in no video external or Led screen Black (no video output)
Hi I have a unit that switches on by itself but no video output all voltages seem to be present on the coils. I was attempting to flash the bios but the one I downloaded from the Toshiba website when extracted my programmer says its too big for the chip. There only seems to be 1 eeprom on the board that I can see. The unit has AMD BGA Cpu onboard.
Any assistance wold be greatly appreciated
No I cannot see any other numbers I have searched over the board. the only other number is E114139
E114139 PLF/PLR/CSF/CSR ??
All details are
tmt YA-4A 19 E114139 94v-0 1334
Then PT10ABX(PT10ABX/PT10ABXG) REV:2.1
Thn beside ram slot, PT1253135401230 PT10ABX 12531354
You should have your 3.3v alws volatge on both your poweerbutton and at various pins on the Sio/KBC. Find out which pin on the Sio is the kbc_pwrbtn this voltage should go to 0v when the powerbutton is pressed and this should start thing off.
Mesmo sem as tensões de 3.3 e 5v esses sinais aparecem no I/O? acredito que não né...abraço
