    Dê o boot pelo CD de instalação do Windows XP, na primeira tela de opções escolha a opção R (Console de Recuperação), ele irá pedir o número da partição (geralmente 1), Poderá tambem pedir a senha de administrador. Ao final você irá digitar os seguintes comandos: cd C:\WINDOWS\system32\config rename system system.old copy C:\WINDOWS\repair\system C:\WINDOWS\system32\config
