Hi 

My xbox 360 corona (4gb model) was not turning on so I replaced u5a1 with the ams117-3.3v and now the console just beeps

the board needed some work doing it as a trace repair and the nand pads had gone so needed alternative points 

I have done all that but the console just beeps

 

Please can anyone help please

what could cause this 

How can I get this booting again

@xbox1tenta fazer a leitura da nand, se não conseguir verifica a tensão no pad 2, caso esteja com 1,7v é quase certo que terá que trocar o ci da nand, ou converter para v3.

(try to read the nand, if you can not check the voltage in pad 2, if you are 1.7v, you almost have to change the ci of the nand, or convert to v3.)

I have not rgh it yet

Its on stock

I dont have a backup of the firmware

Can you confirm which is pad 2 please

esqueci de pedir se tem as tensões de standby, 5v, 3,3v e 1,2v.

os pads que pedi para você medir é para saber se tem defeito no ci da nand.

Ok So on pad 1 (the first black arrow in the pic), I get zero volts,

000.5mv

on the second pad I get 3.2v

 

 

como as tensões estão todas corretas, vai ter que fazer a leitura da nand.

yes but i want to boot the console on stock rgh before i do anything

@xbox1a leitura da nand é para saber se o ci esta bom, se fizer leitura correta descartamos defeito no ci, e já terá um backup da nand do seu xbox, caso não faça leitura terá que trocar o ci da nand e só funcionará com rgh, a não ser que tenha um backup da nand original.

 

(the reading of the nand is to know if the ci is good, if you read correctly we discard defect in the ci, and already have a backup of the nand of your xbox, if you do not read it will have to change the ci of the nand and will only work with rgh, unless you have a backup of the original nand.)

i dont have a backup and dont have another nand chip for this console

are there any other tests i can do such as test resistors or something

Ok I measure and i get 5v on the pins on the first two pins on the right

using the pic as the reference, the first two pins on the right are 5v and all the rest are 0v

isso indica que, ou o software da nand esta corrompido, ci nand com defeito ou chip KSB com defeito.

 

(this indicates that either the nand's software is corrupted, the defective ci nand or the defective KSB chip.)

How can i know for sure

Ive not ever read the nand chip

Whats the ksb chip

 

Maybe it could be something else

@xbox1vai ter que tentar ler a nand, faça um adaptador caseiro ou compre um.
 Segue imagem do esquema do adaptador sd.

 

(will have to try to read the nand, make a homemade adapter or buy one.
