@Mubashir Ahmad Congratulations on your efforts. You can upload this type of files in the download area of the forum, and you should create a topic like mine explaining your method, for sure it can help other people in the future. ;D Svod 4 failed to program KB9052D here, same problem with RT809H, flashrom + CH341A worked like a charm. Flashrom already send packets to ensure the chip is in programming mode before read data, the first command you should use after connections is always -r, that way the chip will became stable to write later, maybe I forgot to explain that in the tutorial, I will adjust this later. For EC flashing I ever read and write with 5V (my mod allows me to select 3.3V or 5V), I found that for my ch341B it works better, so this shouldn't be a problem, but, trash data can be sent and receivid, so this, can be the real problemwith your files. If you want to get real realiable files for your serial number , you should look for LBE program that can extract files from manufacturer's "BIOS.exe" and prepare the files for programming with programmers. You could also look in the downloads area of this forum, sometimes the files needed and already adjusted, can be available. Since this topic is about programmimng with flashrom and ch341A it's not the right place to further analyse other possible problems in your laptop, but, would be my pleasure to look into other possible causes, for that, you should create a topic in the right area, bellow I left for you some links that will elucidate any doubts that may you have about how this forum works, please read it when you have the time. @Daniel que bafafá huaeuhauhaeuhae estou entretido trabalhando num novo programa pra usar com o ch341a que será a base pra versão comercial futura do meu programador com hardware+software+driver proprietários, perdi tudo isso aí, mas sou obrigado a rir. uhaeuhaeuhaehuaeuhAEhuaEuhAEuheahuaEUHAEuhAEuhaeuh Além do mais tive que fazer uns reparos eletrônicos. @Mubashir Ahmad Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. Man, I still believe that your problem comes from the connections between the programmer and the board. The programmer is looking for the chip and finds it. When communication starts, however, it could be receiving trash data. This could be caused by the wires, for example. The jig board could also act as an antenna and pick up interference from your Wi-Fi. This could be the reason why the laptop did not start working again after flashing it. If the communication did not occur as expected, it may have flashed something different from what you sent. Just to clarify, I'm not developer of Flashrom. I only added support for some ENE chips and provided a driver that allows it to be used with the CH341A on Windows. Anyway, It looks like all these EC from ENE, are based in the old 8051. You should trust me on the IDE 80 vias cable, it worked like a charm to all people who tried it. ;D I wish you good luck, and wish too that I could have better news. Kind regards.

@Mubashir Ahmad Hi, It looks like you are having communication issues. Usually, I use — and recommend that you use as well — a very short ATA80 cable to connect the board to the CH341A. In the past, I used a jig similar to yours and it worked fine. However, after some time and after switching to a newer version of the CH341A programmer, I started getting communication errors. I solved the problem by using a short ATA80 cable instead. Also, on your jig, some traces are shorter than others. It is very important to keep all communication wires at exactly the same length. For the ground connection, I always use two wires from the ATA80 cable. Another point is that the wires below your jig may cause interference because they are not properly arranged for high-speed communication. Even my old jig used parallel wires with equal lengths. In your case, the wiring looks more like spaghetti wiring. For 8 MHz communication, signal integrity becomes very sensitive, and this kind of wiring can easily cause communication errors. Looking at the photos, I can also see that some signal wires follow significantly different paths and lengths after leaving the adapter board. Keeping CLK, MOSI, MISO and CS as equal as possible in length often improves reliability. Communication problems can also occur if the EC is not receiving 3.3V power or if the EC itself is defective. Please verify that 3.3V is present on the EC while the charger is connected. Flashrom will not be able to communicate properly if the EC is not powered. I don't know exactly which version of flashrom you are using, but recent versions have two IDs for the KB9052: KB9052B and KB9052D. Neither of them includes "(EDI)" in the name. Since you already paid for VIP access in the past and apparently downloaded an older version of flashrom, I will give your post a 👍. Then go to the Signatures panel on the site, enter "free download", and select "Download 1". After that, you will be able to download the latest version of flashrom. After you have verified that 3.3V is present on the EC, improved the connection between the board and the CH341A, and downloaded the last flashrom version, please follow the procedure below: Connect the wires between the board and the CH341A. Connect the CH341A to the USB cable. Connect the laptop charger. Press Enter in the Command Prompt window where the flashrom command is already typed and waiting to be executed. Please use Command Prompt (CMD) instead of PowerShell, and run it as Administrator just to eliminate that possibility. I have never tested flashrom under Windows 11, so I cannot confirm whether the driver works properly there. If you are using Windows 11, please try Windows 10 as well. Good luck, and let us know the results.

@Mario Felipp Na internet existem vários projetos, de tudo que é tipo, linear ou chaveada, a maioria tem falhas de projeto, ou usa componentes caros e/ou de difícil aquisição. Se quiser apenas ter uma ferramenta confiável na bancada, eu sugiro comprar uma dps-3012 e usar alguma fonte que atenda as especificações para alimentá-la, tenho uma na bancada há 10 anos, e só tive que substituir o rotary encoder e o micro switch de ligar e desligar a saída, depois de uns 7 anos de uso. Este link é do próprio fabricante: Riden DPS3012 Se a ideia é realmente montar uma do zero por qualquer motivo, tens que definir o tipo de fonte, linear (menos aconselhável para estas especificações de corrente e tensão), ou chaveada, também se ela terá controle digital ou analógico. Se já tiveres algum projeto em mente, podes postar as informações que tens aqui, para podermos avaliar e lhe ajudar da melhor maneira possível.
