This TV's case has been somewhat unusual, and I thought it would be a good idea to create a solution thread because I've consulted other similar cases online, but none of them offered a solution.

Problem: The Thomson 40FE5606 TV with Main TPD.RT2841.PB772 arrived with the symptom that, when connected to power or when pressing the power button, the letters Thomson would appear on the screen. Then, after the letters disappeared, the standby LED would begin to flash for 20 seconds, then display "no command" on the screen, then restart to start over from the beginning, and so on in a loop.

Solution: After many attempts, trying another Main and continuing with the same error, the fault was caused by the power button located on the same board as the infrared sensor.
After replacing the power button, both boards worked 100%, and the TV was repaired and working without problems.
